Designated “Best Land Deal” of 2005 by the San Antonio Business Journal.  With just over 3,000 acres acquired at a total cost of $65 million, the development is a partnership between Galo and Pulte Homes.  It is bounded by Culebra Road on the north, Loop 1604 on the east and bisected by an extension of State Highway 151.  Several other developers, including the Bass Brothers of Fort Worth, have purchased and will develop smaller tracts of land from the partnership for other commercial and residential projects.  Galo is actively developing over 500 acres as residential lots and 170 acres as commercial.
