With a staff of 30 and offices in San Antonio and Austin, Galo properties has sustained as one of the largest single-family lot developers in South Central Texas closing more than $160 million in total property sales in 2006. Single-family lots accounted for more than 25 percent of sales.

Delivering thousands of lots in the last two years, most notably to Ryland Homes, Highland Homes, Legacy Homes and Medallion Homes, Galo properties has developed large mixed-use properties such as Alamo Ranch at Loop 1604 and Culebra Road, totaling more than 3,000 acres of single-family, retail, multi-family and office sites.

The recently completed La Arcata project, located on Loop 1604 West in San Antonio’s Stone Oak area is 36 acres of mixed-use land and is strategically located in the fastest growing portion of northwest San Antonio now home to Galo properties headquarters.

Currently, Galo Properties is developing a conservation subdivision consisting of 4,000 homes in Georgetown making it the first major environmentally sensitive housing development in central Texas totaling more than $200 million dollars.

The Galo properties team anticipates substantial growth in the coming year due to a continued strong real estate market in the area, San Antonio and Austin being in the early stages of powerful economic changes that will sustain growth over the next decade, far out pacing the national economy.
